City and village productions

It's the one considered as court production, referring to those carpets which, judging from the esecution's subtlety,  patterns' complexity with cromatic richness, large formats and their popularity in Western Areas, were probably knotted in the Reign's major cities inside highly specialized laboratories, ordered by aristocracy.

There are of course other levels of production, which can offer differences between court's productions and towns and small cities' prodcutions, born thanks to the growin economy and political strenght of the State.

These productions are known for small format carpets where the patterns have first absorbed elements similar to those of Imperial centers and then modified them with a continue transformation.
